TENDER FOR CONSULTANCY SERVICES TO PROVIDE AUDIT SERVICES TO NATIONAL HOUSING AUTHORITY (NHA) FOR THE FINANCIAL YEARS ENDING 31ST DECEMBER 2024, 2025 AND 2026.

 

Provision of External Audit Services for NHA (2024–2026)

The National Housing Authority (NHA) invites eligible and reputable auditing firms to submit proposals under a Simplified Bidding Selection for the provision of external audit services for the financial years ending 31st December 2024, 2025, and 2026.

Scope of Work:

​Scope of Work include but not limited to the following :

  • Audit NHA’s financial statements in accordance with IFRS, IAS, and the Public Finance Management Act No. 1 of 2018.

  • Assess internal controls, accounting systems, and provide independent audit opinions.

  • Submit audited reports and a Management Letter highlighting key findings and recommendations.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Valid ZICA practicing license & membership.

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in similar audit services.

  • Experience auditing statutory bodies (added advantage).

  • 90-day bid validity.

Submission Requirements:

Proposals must be submitted in two sealed envelopes:

  1. Technical Proposal:

    • Firm profile, methodology, CVs of key staff, past engagements, proposed timelines.

  2. Financial Proposal:

    • Full cost (incl. VAT) with a breakdown by activity.

Deadline for Submission:

All sealed bids must be submitted by 3rd October 2025 at 14:30 hrs to the address below.

REGISTRATION OF OFF-TAKERS FOR THE UPCOMING HOUSING PROJECT AT LUSAKA SOUTH MULTIFACILITY ECONOMIC ZONE (LS-MFEZ)

 

The Ministry of Infrastructure, Housing, and Urban Development, in collaboration with the National Housing Authority and Ongos Valley Development (PTY) Ltd of Namibia, is launching a housing project in the Lusaka South Multifacility Economic Zone.

Project Highlights:

-A total of 10,000 housing units will be constructed at Lusaka South MFEZ ,with the first 2000 housing to be constructed beginning June 2025,catering to low, medium, and high-cost categories.
- Units will be available for purchase or rent-to-buy options, including mortgage and installment payment plans.
